# Add-ons

> Recurring monthly charges for phone numbers, outreach mailboxes and domains, and extra landing pages — what they are and where to see them.

Some things you add to Alva carry a small recurring monthly charge, on top of your plan and separate from your credit. These are **add-ons**. They're added to your bill automatically when you set the thing up, and removed when you release or remove it.

## Phone numbers

Each active [phone number](https://docs.alvahq.com/calling/phone-numbers.md) has a monthly rental. The rental depends on the country and the type of number — local, mobile or national.

* You see the monthly rental before you add a number at **Settings → Telephony**.
* Alva can find and set up numbers for admins, and always confirms before adding one, because it adds a monthly charge.
* Releasing a number removes its rental from your next bill.

The calls themselves — minutes, recordings and transcription — are paid from your [credit](https://docs.alvahq.com/billing/understanding-credits.md), not as an add-on.

## Outreach mailboxes and domains

When you order [outreach mailboxes](https://docs.alvahq.com/email/outreach-mailboxes.md) — from the wizard at **Settings → Email Connections** or by asking Alva — you pay a monthly subscription for the domains and mailboxes in that order.

* The price for the whole order is shown in your billing currency before you confirm.
* The first month is charged when you order.
* Each order renews monthly.

If your account needs a card or a plan before mailboxes can be ordered, the wizard and Alva tell you and send you to **Settings → Billing & Subscription**. Ordering the same domain twice is refused, so you're never charged twice for it.

## Landing page hosting

Your plan includes a number of published [landing pages](https://docs.alvahq.com/advertising/landing-pages.md). Each published page above that allowance has a monthly hosting charge. On some plans there's no hosting charge at all.

* Only **published** pages count. Drafts are free.
* Unpublishing a page frees up its place.

## Team members

Some plans are priced per user, or include a set number of users with a charge for each extra one. On those plans, adding a team member can raise your monthly charge: the invite dialog at **Settings → Team** shows the increase before you send the invitation, and the change is pro-rated. The **Current Plan** card shows your **Billable Users**. Check the plan details on [our website](https://alvahq.com) or at **Settings → Billing & Subscription**.

## Seeing your add-ons

The **Current Plan** card at **Settings → Billing & Subscription** lists each add-on with how many you have and its monthly cost, plus an **Add-on Total**. Add-ons appear on the same invoices as your plan — open **Manage Billing** to see them.
