Every lead from a LinkedIn form lands in your CRM, and every campaign Alva manages has its own performance figures, down to each individual ad. Alva keeps an eye on your campaigns every hour and tells you when something needs a decision.

Where your leads go

When someone submits a LinkedIn lead form, Alva:
  • Creates or matches a contact from their details. The same email address is never added twice.
  • Creates or matches their company, if they named one on the form, and sets it to Lead if it has no stage yet.
  • Adds a note and records which campaign the lead came from.
  • Lists the lead on the Lead Sheet. Someone who named no company is listed as themselves.
  • Emails the campaign owner and adds a bell notification.
The campaign page also shows Recent leads for that campaign. Leads from a landing page follow the same pattern, with their own settings for who is notified.
LinkedIn’s test button in Campaign Manager creates test leads. They’re labelled Test with the campaign name on the Lead Sheet, only ring the bell, and Alva won’t suggest calling them or adding them to a sequence.
If Settings → Advertising asks you to reconnect LinkedIn to start receiving lead form fills, an admin needs to click Reconnect LinkedIn once. See Connecting LinkedIn.

Following up

A form fill is someone who asked to hear from you, not a cold prospect. Alva won’t put ad leads into a cold outreach agent. Ask Alva for help and it can list and summarise leads, check them against your ideal customer profile, or set up a calling session (on Pro) or a short follow-up when you ask.

Campaign results

Open a campaign from Advertising → Campaigns. The cards at the top show lifetime totals: Impressions (lifetime), Clicks, CTR, spend and Leads. The Performance card charts the campaign’s history daily or monthly, with a table of spend, impressions, clicks, form opens and leads by month. Figures refresh automatically; an admin can click Sync now for the latest. LinkedIn’s reporting can lag by about a day.

Results for each ad

Under Your ads in the LinkedIn feed, each ad card shows its own impressions, clicks, click-through rate, spend, leads and cost per lead. The ad that’s ahead is marked Best so far. If there isn’t enough delivery yet to pick one, no ad is marked.
If one ad is taking almost all the impressions, that’s usually LinkedIn’s Optimize for performance rotation at work. Ask Alva to switch to Rotate ads evenly for a fairer test. See delivery settings.

What Alva watches for

An hourly check syncs each campaign’s status, delivery and LinkedIn’s review of your ads. Alva always explains the problem and waits for your yes before it changes anything. Spending the daily budget isn’t a problem to fix: LinkedIn stops serving for the rest of that day and carries on tomorrow, and the campaign stays on. A campaign marked Paused at cap stays off until you resume it.

Campaigns already in your ad account

Advertising → Campaigns lists the campaigns Alva manages under Managed by Alva, then the campaigns already in your LinkedIn ad account, with their status, objective, daily budget and recent delivery.
  • Import brings an existing campaign under Alva’s management so you can pause, resume and see its reporting in Alva. It changes nothing on LinkedIn. Imported campaigns are still edited in Campaign Manager.
  • Archived campaigns are hidden. Click Show archived to see them. An admin can click Activate to bring one back; it starts spending again at its LinkedIn daily budget, so you’re asked to confirm.
Resuming any campaign restarts spend at its daily budget. Alva states that budget and asks before resuming.

Ask Alva

  • “How is the CFO campaign doing?”
  • “Which ad is performing best?”
  • “Show me this week’s leads from LinkedIn.”
  • “Why isn’t the logistics campaign getting any impressions?”
  • “LinkedIn rejected an ad. Can you rewrite it?”
  • “Import our existing brand campaign and pause it.”
  • “Show me our archived campaigns.”
