Call outcomes
When a call ends, you choose an outcome that describes how it went. Alva comes with a standard set out of the box:
Outcomes are colour-coded so you can read a call list at a glance, and positive outcomes feed the Pitches counter in calling sessions and your reporting.
Each outcome you log also creates an activity on the contact, company, and (where relevant) deal timeline — so the call shows up in the full history alongside emails and meetings.
Admins manage outcomes in Settings → Telephony. You can reset to the standard set at any time.
AI call analysis
Whenever a call is recorded and transcribed, Alva analyses the conversation in the background and extracts structured insights from what was actually said. What Alva pulls out
- Summary — a short, plain-English recap of the call
- Sentiment — whether the call was positive, neutral, negative, or mixed
- Buying signals — moments that suggest the prospect is interested or moving forward
- Risk signals — anything that suggests the deal could stall or go cold
- Objections — concerns the prospect raised
- Next steps — anything that was agreed
- Commitments — promises made on the call, split into things you committed to the prospect and internal follow-ups for your team
Where the insights appear
The analysis flows straight into the rest of Alva, so the call becomes part of your live pipeline intelligence:- The summary is posted to the contact, company, and deal timelines as a call activity, so anyone on the team can catch up in seconds.
- Commitments become tracked action items on the related deal, company, or contact — and surface in Focus so nothing slips.
- Buying and risk signals feed the deal’s intelligence, sitting alongside the signals Alva picks up from email analysis for a single view of deal health.
