The Discovery Companies page shows every company that Alva has found across all your active discovery profiles. It’s your central view for managing discovered prospects before and after they enter your CRM.

Accessing the page

Go to Discovery → Companies in the sidebar.

What you see

Each company in the list shows:
  • Company name and website
  • Location — where the company is based
  • Source profile — which discovery profile found this company
  • Match confidence — how closely the company matches your profile
  • Relationship type — customer, vendor, partner, supplier, or competitor (set by the profile type)
  • Lifecycle stage — where the company is in your pipeline (Target, Prospect, Lead, etc.)

Searching and filtering

Use the search bar to find companies by name or domain. You can also filter by:
  • Discovery profile — show companies from a specific profile
  • Match category — match, partial match, or weak match
  • Lifecycle stage — Target, Prospect, Lead, etc.

Moving companies through stages

Click a company to open its detail page, then use the lifecycle stage selector to move it forward:
  • TargetProspect — you’ve started looking into this company
  • ProspectLead — the company is ready for active sales engagement
  • LeadCustomer/Vendor/Partner/Supplier — the relationship is established
Companies at the Lead stage also appear on the Lead Sheet.

Importing into your CRM

Discovered companies exist in the Discovery system initially. To make them full CRM records:
  • Click the Import button on a company to create a CRM record
  • Use bulk actions to import multiple companies at once
  • Or ask Alva: “Import all approved companies from my healthcare ICP”
Imported companies retain their discovery data and can be viewed in both Discovery and the main CRM.

Relationship to BDR agents

When a BDR agent is targeting a discovery profile, it works through companies on this page. You can see which companies the agent has contacted, which are pending, and which have been escalated.
