When to use one
- You’ve imported companies from a spreadsheet and want them enriched with the right contacts.
- You added a company manually and want Alva to find its decision-makers.
- You want to apply the same targeting repeatedly across different batches of companies without re-typing it each time.
Companies discovered by a Search Agent already carry that agent’s enrichment targeting, so they don’t need an Enrichment Profile. Enrichment Profiles are for companies that arrive outside of a Search Agent.
Creating an Enrichment Profile
Go to Discovery → Search Agents, click Create New Search Agent, and choose Add Enrichment Profile. Give it a clear name (e.g. “UK Fintech Decision-Makers”) and set your targeting:
An Enrichment Profile holds targeting only — it doesn’t search for companies itself. It appears in your Search Agents list alongside your other agents so it’s easy to find and edit.
Linking a profile to companies
Once created, attach the profile to the companies you want enriched:- From a company’s detail page, choose the Enrichment Profile to apply, then enrich.
- When importing companies, apply a profile so the whole batch is enriched with the same targeting.
Tier 2 Contact Search
Base enrichment finds contacts and emails associated with a company and is included. Tier 2 Contact Search is an optional, deeper layer that finds more contacts and reveals more verified emails — and, if you choose, mobile numbers. When you enable Tier 2 you can choose:- Reveal email addresses — find more verified emails (a small per-email cost).
- Reveal mobile numbers — add direct mobile numbers (a larger per-mobile cost).
Automatic contact enrichment — including Tier 2 — requires a Pro plan. On other plans the People settings are visible but locked, with an upgrade prompt.
Managing with Alva
You can create and apply Enrichment Profiles conversationally. Ask Alva:- “Create an enrichment profile targeting heads of operations and CFOs.”
- “Enrich this company looking for its marketing decision-makers.”
