AI Settings let you control which AI features are active, how often they run, and how much they’re allowed to spend. These are account-wide settings managed by admins.
Accessing AI settings
Go to Settings → AI Settings.
Feature toggles
You can enable or disable individual AI features:
| Feature | What it does |
|---|
| Deal health scoring | Automatically scores every deal from 0–100 |
| Risk detection | Flags deals that show risk signals |
| Notifications | Sends in-app alerts when risks are detected |
| Email analysis | Analyses email conversations for sentiment, signals, and evidence |
| Background insights | Generates periodic AI insights about your pipeline |
Turning off a feature stops it from running and consuming credits. Existing data (health scores, insights) remains — it just won’t be updated.
Budget controls
Set limits on how much AI features can spend:
- Daily budget cap — maximum credits AI background features can use per day
- Monthly budget cap — maximum credits for the billing period
When a budget cap is reached, background AI features pause automatically. Interactive chat with Alva continues to work — budgets only apply to automated background processing.
Processing frequency
Control how often background features run:
| Setting | Options |
|---|
| Health score refresh | Hourly, every 6 hours, daily, or weekly |
| Risk detection | Hourly, daily, or weekly |
| Email analysis | As emails arrive, or batched daily |
Less frequent processing uses fewer credits but means data is less current. For most accounts, the default settings strike a good balance.
If you’re on a limited plan, set background features to daily or weekly rather than hourly. This significantly reduces credit usage while still keeping your data reasonably current.
